“Thank you for developing such a wonderful device to help following surgery. We have used it continuously since Bubba's release from the hospital and I don't think we could manage without it. We also want to thank you for going the extra mile to get the GingerLead to us on short notice. Thank you so much.” Joe & Sylvia Parker, CO
“I just wanted to tell you how much I love your product. My Newfie just had surgery for a torn cruciate ligament. The leash attachment added to the sling design is brilliant! Kudos and well done! And thank you for a well crafted product!!!” Cheryl
Dog Torn ACL Recovery Sling Newfoundland GingerLead TPLO Vet Harness
“Thank-you so much for the GingerLead for my 10-year-old Bichon Frise. It is designed perfectly! Just what I needed for Jake after his spinal surgery. We were given a support harness by the vet but it had short handles which was back- breaking for me and it didn't have a lead. The GingerLead is EXCELLENT!! And shipping took only 2 days! I'm thrilled with the product and the speedy service.” Mary Lake Forest Park, WA
“Today my Collie Dax had his stitches out from his knee surgery and I brought him in on the GingerLead. Dax’s veterinarian was quite impressed with its support, its durability, and its design. The price was good as well. He actually called in another veterinarian from the clinic to show it to her as well. He said to me, ‘I wish I would have had this last night.’ My vet indicated it was better than anything they used or that they had found, and he wrote down your website. The two veterinarians discussed how many applications the GingerLead would have – elderly dogs, ACL, and more. Again, they were quite impressed. Just thought you should know.” Kaye “Grateful customer of GingerLead”

“Our 5 1/2 year old female great dane, Payton, had surgery to repair a torn ligament in her knee. Realizing that as part of her rehab, she was not supposed to walk up an down stairs, I knew I had an issue considering we have stairs at all entrances to our home. Given Payton's size/height, I was offered the new 'Tall' version of the GingerLead. We couldn't have been more pleased w/ the ease of use, the comfort level provided to our dog, the quality of the product and most importantly, it allows us to safely assist our dog up and down stairs so that she's able to go outside to the bathroom and for rehabilitation walks. As much as I wished pet owners didn't have to go through pet surgeries, I would highly recommend this product to those who do.” Adam Denver, CO
“Our 120 pounds of female Rottie blew out both of her CCL's in short order and we were faced with surgeries. Since our young Hayley also suffers from Addison's Disease, our vet decided that she would do better with both surgeries at once so she could recover faster. Thank goodness we found Gingerlead online! We had purchased another brand of belly sling that she just hated. While it seemed soft and cushy to us, it actually was so soft and wide that it bunched up every time we used it. Not only that, but it didn't have the front leash that Gingerlead employs and that meant that we had to keep both hands busy trying to control her while supporting her. Being a Rottie, she has to vocalize every time we put your product on her, but she got used to it right away and started trusting it to do her personal business almost immediately. We are still travelling on her long path to full recovery, but Gingerlead is a very big part of that ... even my wife can lift Hayley, (all 120 pounds of her) and maneuver her out for walks with the use of the GingerLead with relative ease. She feels confident that with the GingerLead she can control her and support her, both important aspects in the recovery process. Thanks again for a great product!” Steve Ojai, CA

“Frida was born with a cyst on the back of her brain and hydrocephalus on the left side of her brain.... We began treating Frida's condition medically but as her gait worsened, we discussed the possibility of surgery. When around 8 months old she woke up and couldn't stand on her own, we prepared for brain surgery to drain her cyst. She had the surgery in December of 2015 and began a long recovery process. That spring we took her to physical therapy including land exercises, underwater treadmill, and acupuncture. While there we saw GingerLead slings for larger dogs but none that would fit Frida. One day before our appointment, we were browsing at the Doggie Style across the street and found her perfect sized GingerLead. Frida has partial and grand mal seizures and still has a lot of trouble walking. She still does exercises daily and uses a quad cart on pavement. This gives her some mobility but because she can drag her feet, it's better for her to be on grass. Of all the things we've used (and paid for) the GingerLead has been the best thing to keep her moving. It's relatively low touch so that it's not weighing her down (since she's so small already the quad cart can be a bit bulky on her) and she gets to enjoy the grass. We've found a nice harness to go with it so that it supports both her chest and waist comfortably. And it was by far the least expensive method we've used. I only wish I had bought one sooner. Frida will probably use the GingerLead for the rest of her life. I think it's great that dogs who are rehabbing use the leash but I also think there are plently of special needs dogs who would benefit from using the GingerLead. Aside from giving Frida some exercise, the Gingerlead is great for socialization. It allows her to interact with other dogs (which she loves), again without all the bulk of something like a quad cart. The times she moves fastest in it is when she sees a dog friend on the sidewalk and is so excited to be able to just skip right up to the dog. Thank you so much for creating this awesome product - especially one that is affordable and can be used by a pup as small as mine (Frida is only 4.5 pounds). We are GingerLead fans for life.” Briana
“Our dog Dudley just had a tibial plateau leveling osteotomy and has many weeks/months of rehab ahead of him. The most difficult part of this is that we live on a hill and have many steps that we have to go down just to get to the yard. My boyfriend has been carrying him down the steps every time he needs to go to the bathroom, but I am unable to because he is too heavy and I worry about setting him down gently enough. Your gingerlead allows us to take the weight off his back end so that either of us can carefully guide him down the stairs. I am so grateful for both your product and your excellent customer service.” Loni Petaluma, CA
“The GingerLead is clearly designed by people who know what it is like to have a dog needing assistance. I find that adjusting of the straps to suit my dog's size, and my arm length, was very easy and intuitive. Materials and construction are high quality, and the leash detaches easily so you can throw the pad in the wash. But the most unique benefit of the GingerLead is that the connection of the handle and the leash gives you security from the front and the back at the same time. If my dog suddenly needs more support, or a squirrel dashes across our path - I can instantly react with either support of the back end or control of the front end - or both - as needed. This has made me more confident walking my dog in the post surgical period, therefore more well-controlled walking and faster recovery.” Val Minneapolis, MN

“We feel so lucky to have found GingerLead - it has saved my back and my sanity! We have a beautiful lab named Latte, who has the mind of a pup and the body of an older dog. We found out a couple of months ago that Latte needed Surgery for a torn ACL on her rear knee. We were having an impossible time with Latte and her mobility, especially going up and down steps. I ended up carrying her around everywhere - not easy on a 65 lb dog. Then our Vet told us about GingerLead. What an incredible product. With the GingerLead all I had to do was support Latte, not carry her. What a difference that made. Then Latte had her surgery. Again the GingerLead saved us. I don't think I could have carried Latte around for all of those weeks. I was able to keep Latte by my side and still let her have a little independence. The GingerLead is a lifesaver! I only wish we had found it sooner.” Don Denver, CO

“My name is Lucy and I am a 2 year old black labrador. I had cruciate ligament surgery eleven days ago and all I can say is my GingerLead has been a God send. My owner ordered the GingerLead before I went in for surgery so I would have it when it was time to recover. I have been told by my vet to take it easy and slowly get better. The GingerLead has helped me get up and down the stairs to my dog run which I would not have been able to do without being carried. It is winter and the steps are very icy so the GingerLead helped my owners move me up and down the stairs. My leg is getting better and the GingerLead is helping my owners to control my walking ('cause I'm feeling better and really want to RUN). 10 more weeks and I get to return to my regular routine. Thanks again GingerLead!” John Saskatchewan, Canada
