Our 6 year old 86 pound yellow lab blew out her CCL in her left knee in December. In June her right CCL went. The first time we used a sling from that the vet provided after surgery. It bunched up the handles were much too long making it uncomfortable for Zoey and us as we cared for her. This time around I researched and we purchased the tall female GingerLead and it is a godsend. I highly recommend it. Measure your dog and buy the right size... Zoey does not look like a Great Dane but the tall female fits her perfectly!!!

This is a big help to my Great Dane its well constructed and holds her weight (130)lbs my only critique would be that the lead that comes with it was adjustable so I could attach it to her collar

I got the tall dog version for the recovery period of a very active dutch shepherd. The padded part spreads her weight well, the handle is thick enough to be easy on my hand. The connection to her collar is very useful in slowing her down somewhat. The little velcro strips meant to keep the contraption in place are useless. Making the padded part shorter and adding buckles would be better. But the whole thing stays in place well while using it. I have other versions of the same thing but this one works the best.

My partner's dog passed away a few years ago but, he remembered the helpfulness of this product in the dog's final months. I now have an elderly medium-large dog with hip issues. The instructions and quality are top-notch and I'm thankful for finding something to ease her discomfort and help her!

My husband and I love the gingerlead. Our 13 year old Ridgeback Sadie needs help and the ginerlead works perfectly. It is comfortable and gives Sadie the support she needs. This is a wonderful product.

Can I return the harness? 10/25/2020

My shepherd has a broken back. Unfortunately the halter had put pressure on her back near her injury so she was not able to use it.
The harness would have worked fine if it wasn't hitting her broken spine area but thank you anyway

Received on time and used for my 142lb female great dane after orthopedic surgery. Could not have done with out it. Made excellent and perfect size. Thanks so much. I looked at a lot of products and this one seemed to be best quality. Glad I did.
