dog wouldn't use sling 03/04/2024

Sorry, but my dog simply refused to use the Gingerlead sling. I tried multiple times, but she just tries to sit down. I'll try again after the surgery, but I'm not confident. At least, the re-furbished lead was very clean and looked new. A good thing to do in that case.

Some dogs take right to the GingerLead, and some require practice. A dog may initially appear confused, and even sit down or resist walking. So here's some tips to get started: www.gingerlead.com/tips

Our corgi Zoe is four months short of 15 years and has lost, for the most part, use of her hind legs. I found your site through a FB page for disabled pets and decided to follow through. It's helped tremendously. She is able to do her business and better enjoy her time outside. We use her regular leash attached to her collar and keep it separate from the harness, which allows us to direct her more efficiently. She's still an enthusiastic, happy girl, and this has been a real blessing.

The Gingerlead is a superior product. Strong, straight stitching with reassuring seams, fabrics the owner wants to handle, and plenty of webbing for adjustments. My Friday afternoon phone message was quickly returned. It is packaged in a well-designed box with easy to see photo directions. The mailing container is a reduced recycling product that echoes the thoughtfulness of the Gingerlead product.

Our 12 year old female corgi suffers from arthritis in both back legs. After searching and trying another ill-fitting product I found GingerLead. I emailed to get advice on sizing and received an immediate response. My order was placed and the product arrived promptly. I began using the harness for outside trips to the bathroom and then increased our time with it over the coming days. After a week of practice our sweet corgi is walking easily with the harness and enjoying her time outside. Thank you for all of the assistance and this quality product.

Our dog had TPLO surgery. The vet tech brought her to our car with a GingerLead sling. Then, took the sling back and recommended using a towel. We tried a towel. Not good. Went online and bought the sling. Really helps support our dog and saves our backs, too. Highly satisfied.

Fit was good, adjustment took a couple walks to get it right. Quality material and construction. Needs at least 2-4 additional retention straps to contain excess strap material.

My senior beagle hurt her ACL so needed support when walking. I was using a towel, which did the trick, but it wasn’t ideal. My girl was recently admitted to an animal hospital (for an unrelated matter) and they were using a Gingerlead on her. I ordered one for her and we’re very happy with it. A great product!
